The Hampshire Desk is a traditional writing desk with panelled detailing, Oxford borders and classic hardware. Designed for a home office or study, it offers a generous work surface while reflecting the restrained structure of English country furniture. The visible wood grain and traditional joinery highlight the craftsmanship behind the piece. Handcrafted at our Cape Town workshop, this design has formed part of our collection since 1989.

Sealed Wood Finishes
Avoid excessive sunlight, dampness and hot or cold conditions. For routine cleaning, use a cloth that has been dampened with water or diluted cleaning polish. Clean spills or smudges with a damp cloth moistened in mild soap or cleaning polish. For nickel and brass hardware, simply clean with a damp cloth. Place a felt or leather pad under all lamp bases and accessories to avoid surface scratches. Polish only every six months with a silicone-free polish, as polishing too often may result in a waxy build-up.

Premium delivery by our Block & Chisel teams using our own trucks.
Includes delivery, unpacking, basic assembly (where applicable) and placement in your home.
Please ensure the space is clear before delivery.
Hoisting and carrying above the 3rd floor without lift access are not included.

Nationwide Delivery
Delivered via our trusted logistics partners.
Standard service is curbside delivery unless otherwise arranged.
Assembly and packaging removal are not included.

Pick up
Online orders may be collected from our Cape Town warehouse.
Pick up from our Sandton store in Johannesburg can be arranged for a small in-transit fee.
