What is the Trade Partner Programme?
Block & Chisel offers tiered discounts to trade professionals working across architecture, interior design, hospitality and the building trade. The more you spend with us across the year, the higher your tier - and the greater your discount. It's built into our checkout, in store and online, so there's nothing extra to carry or remember.

Our tiers
Your discount is based on how much you've spent with us over the past 12 months. As your spend rises, so does your tier.
A single purchase of R15 000 activates your trade discount. To keep it active, we ask for at least R200 000 in spend within a rolling 12 months, reviewed annually. Made by Block & Chisel pieces are capped at 15%, even on higher tiers.

A personal touch from our team
Provide your store consultant with the name or email under which your company is registered with us. Your allocated discount will automatically be applied to all your instore purchases.
Refer In-Store
Your clients, looked after
Ask your clients to provide your business name or email under which your company is registered with us. Our store team will confirm the purchase with you and link it to your trade account. Your rebate will then appear on your trade profile for payment at the end of the month.

Applying & Eligibility
Architects, interior designers, hospitality operators and building trade professionals purchasing for client projects.
Our trade team reviews every application personally - approval usually takes 2-5 working days.
Only the approved applicant and their listed company members may purchase using the trade discount. Clients of a trade partner can't benefit unless the account holder is present.
Using Your Discount
Make sure you're logged into your trade account before you check out. Your discount will show up in your cart automatically - no codes needed.
Just give your name, and email address that you are registered with, to your consultant at the till. They'll pull up your account and your discount will be applied automatically.
Your affiliate link lets you send a client to shop with us directly. When they check out using your link, their purchase is credited to you as a rebate - they never see a discount, and you don't need to be there. You'll find your personal link in your Trade Dashboard.
Your discount applies to most goods, with a few exceptions: sale and promotional items, delivery charges, and magazines. Made by Block & Chisel pieces are capped at 15%, even on higher tiers.
If your basket includes a promotional item, that item keeps its own promotional price rather than your trade discount - the two aren't combined on the same item.
Yes you can split your discount between yourself (as a rebate) and your client. Speak to your in-store consultant to choose how much discount you would like to give directly to your client and they will manage the allocation. This service is limited to in-store checkout only, not online.
Your Dashboard & Rebates
Every rebate you've earned - whether through attribution in store or your affiliate link online - appears in your Trade Dashboard.
Rebates are processed by EFT before the 25th of each month. Bank clearance times may cause slight delays.
