Description
Introducing our Naksha Collection of luxury rugs, throws, and stools. Named after the Sanskrit word for "design" or "pattern" the collection reflects the intricate beauty of traditional Indian craftsmanship.
Handcrafted cotton textiles showcase the unique Indian crafts of block printing, tufting, dhurrie and kantha work, while their natural materials contribute towards timeless elegance.

Care & Maintenance
Rugs
Cotton Rugs:
Machine wash in cool water on a gentle cycle, rinsing thoroughly. Tumble dry on low setting. Place large rugs on a vinyl or concrete floor or place an old blanket beneath them to prevent creasing. Sponge commercial carpet cleaning foam over the surface and rub it in according to the product directions.
Wool Rugs:
Vacuum often. Rotate regularly (annually should be fine) so your rug receives even wear. Blot and remove any stains as soon as they happen. Professionally clean every two or three years, if foot traffic is high.
Sisal & Jute:
Vacuum regularly and avoid spills. Should spills occur blot up immediately with colourfast clean cloth. Dry area with hair drier. Liquid spills, including water, will cause watermarks so dry immediately.
Viscose rugs:
Rugs made using Viscose should be placed away from potentially damp areas as the fibre is highly absorptive. Should a spill occur, aim to dry the affected area immediately. If possible, treat your Viscose rug with a rug protector treatment before final placement.

Beyond Cape Town areas we use a preferred service provider which we have selected and entrusted who deliver anywhere within South Africa and abroad. Delivery to Cape Town & Surrounds:
The Block & Chisel Delivery Service includes unpack, product assembly, and placement, third-party service providers may differ. Please clear the space before we arrive. Excludes hoisting and carry furniture beyond the 3rd floor unless an elevator is available.
Delivery to Greater South Africa:
Delivery handled by our Outsourced Logistics Partners is curbside only unless otherwise arranged. This service does not include assembly or package removal unless arranged.
Pick Up:
Pick Up of online purchases may be done at our Cape Town warehouse only. Pick up from our Jhb Illovo store will incur a small subsidized in-transit Cape Town to Jhb cost.
