Linen

Caring for Linen upholstery

Dry clean only.

In terms of everyday maintenance for linen furniture, vacuuming or dry brushing can be done. If you’re worried that your linen upholstery may fade over time, consider rotating it in the room so that it’s not always in the direct light. You can also close your window coverings during the direct sun hours of the day.

If you want a little extra stain protection, linen does well with scotch guarding, please check with our sales people with regards to this service offered in store.

If you notice your linen furniture has some wrinkles, light steam or even cool ironing can help with that.

Linen Blend

Vacuum regularly using the upholstery attachment to remove dust and dirt. Blot spills with a dry cloth, avoiding rubbing. Clean stains with a mix of mild soap and lukewarm water, blotting instead of rubbing. Periodically have the upholstery professionally cleaned. Protect it from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Ensure the environment isn’t too humid to avoid mildew. Use slipcovers or throws to keep the upholstery clean.
