Restored to revive its beauty, the rug is a beautifully overdyed solid colour. Made from a cotton and wool blend, it has been sheared to reduce the pile height — revealing charming imperfections that make it truly unique and add a cosy, lived-in feel.

About the Anka Range

"Anka" means "phoenix" in Turkish, symbolising rebirth. Each one-of-a-kind rug in our Anka Range, woven nearly half a century ago, has been carefully restored — giving classic designs new life. Made from a cotton and wool blend, the sheared pile reveals charming imperfections for a unique, lived-in feel.
