Restored to revive its beauty, the rug features a beautiful, overdyed design. Made from a cotton and wool blend, it has been sheared to reduce the pile height — revealing charming imperfections that make it truly unique and add a cosy, lived-in feel.

About the Anka Range

"Anka" means "phoenix" in Turkish, symbolising rebirth. Each one-of-a-kind rug in our Anka Range, woven nearly half a century ago, has been carefully restored — giving classic designs new life. Made from a cotton and wool blend, the sheared pile reveals charming imperfections for a unique, lived-in feel.

Care & Maintenance

Immediately blot spills with a clean, white cloth to prevent stains. Avoid harsh chemicals and scrubbing. For tough stains, consult a professional

Protect rugs from direct sunlight to prevent fading and avoid high-humidity areas to prevent mould
Professional cleaning is recommended every few years for thorough maintenance, especially in high-traffic areas
To store, roll rugs with the front side inward, wrap in breathable fabric, and store them in a cool, dry environment to prevent damage
