Description
Give your office space classic elegance with the Margot Desk. It is designed by our master craftsman Sibley and made by hand in our Cape Town workshop from Oak. Inspired by late 18th Century and early 19th Century Industrial era styling, its showcases expertly turned straight tapered legs and rectangle worktop. Burnt Oak panels on its worktop pay respect to black leather writing surfaces once traditionally installed in desks of this style.
The Margot Desk is part of our Made by Block & Chisel collections which are all lovingly designed and handcrafted by our expert team at our Cape Town workshop.

Care & Maintenance
Natural Raw Wood
The wood in this state is untreated, therefore contact with all liquids (especially red wine and oils) should be avoided. Avoid excessive sunlight, dampness, and hot or cold conditions. Clean spills or smudges with a damp cloth. Avoid all polishes, waxes and sealers, unless done by a professional. The natural look and feel of this product is what you love about it, so any marks that might develop should be viewed as added character.

Delivery & Returns
Our delivery lead time for Block and Chisel Made products are as follows:
- Production begins once the 50% deposit reflects in the B&C accounts and is subject to a 8 to 10 week lead-time but due to Covid-19 this can change anytime, this may be extended for JHB based clients as all products are produced in our Cape Town workshop.
